Midland Background Air Quality Study

The Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) is aware of community interest in air quality issues relating to the operation of brickwork facilities around the suburb of Midland.

For the past two years, DEC has been studying background air quality in parts of the Perth metropolitan area and is extending the investigation to Midland and its surrounding suburbs.

To help us better understand and assess air quality in the Midland area, DEC is conducting a 12-month background air quality study in 2007. Residents of Midland and surrounding areas are encouraged to provide input, advice and guidance during the development of this project.

Further information on the background air quality study in Midland can be found in the following publications.
