The Department of Environment and Conservation produces a variety of publications and information products to meet different information needs. Many of these are available in electronic version via this web site, and hard copy or CD-ROM versions of others can be obtained from the Information Centre.
The Information Centre has wheelchair access. If you need information in alternative formats or have specific accessibility needs, please contact staff on 08 6467 5226 or email us and we will assist you.
Please note that any reports, investigations and data are released to external stakeholders in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1992.
Under the Environmental Protection Act 1986 there is a legal requirement for the display of various documents for review or public access. Such documents are available for viewing in the Atrium Information Centre.
Visitors to the Information Centre have access to a wide range of library resources suitable for professionals, teachers, students, community groups and the general public.
Conscious of our objective to conserve the environment, we encourage people to access our publications electronically where appropriate. However, in the interests of equity, all publications will be available initially in hard copy, CD-ROM or on line. If the publication/s you want are accessible via the web, and it is not vital to have them in hard copy, please help us - and the environment - by accessing the information electronically.
Ordering publications
Copies of department publications can be ordered from the Information Centre by telephoning (08) 6467 5226. Regional offices can not process publication orders. Please note that there may be a charge for some publications - you should enquire before ordering. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card.
Publications can also be obtained by using the publication order form.
Park Passes
The Information Centre sells all park passes that are available to the public which include Annual All Parks Passes, Holiday Park Passes and Gold Star Passes. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card.
