Scarborough Beach cleaned up the competition and picked up Western Australia’s best beach title in the Clean Beach Challenge awards held at the Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club on 19 February.

In addition to winning the overall title Scarborough also took out the award for litter prevention and friendliest beach.
Cottlesloe Beach picked up two awards, community action and protection of the environment, and Rockingham Beach received the resource management award.
Scarborough Beach now goes through to the national competition and the National Clean Beach Challenge winner will be announced in April.
