Learning about litter is an ongoing process and should form part of students’ long-term learning. It encompasses many topics across the curriculum and a continual program promoted all year round is the best approach.
Keep Australia Beautiful is currently developing a whole school approach to litter. The resource ‘Learning about litter’ is a valuable in-class tool but there are also many ways that the whole school community can work towards creating a litter-free environment.
